Raise A Racket (RAR) is our signature fundraiser and has raised over $500,000 since the inaugural event in 2012. Our impact in the community continues to build thanks to your support and your belief in our mission. Together, through collaborative efforts we can unite our strengths, ideas, and resources to help eliminate cervical cancer. Cervical Health Awareness Month (CHAM) is observed every January to raise awareness about a diagnosis more than 13,000 U.S. women receive each year. For this reason, we chose to hold our primary fundraiser in January to emphasize the importance of education and outreach. Thanks to vaccines and regular screenings, cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers today.

Nearly all cervical cancers are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), the most common sexually transmitted infection. While most people who contract HPV experience no long-term effects and the infection often clears on its own, for some, the infection can cause cellular changes that may lead to cancer. By educating the community about prevention, we aim to eradicate this disease. We hope you’ll continue supporting us as we work toward that goal.
