Annette is a Lead Faculty member at Franklin University, leading and instructing various forensic and tax courses. She retired in 2017 as a partner in the tax practice at BDO’s Columbus office. Prior to retiring, she had been in public accounting since 1985. Annette brings to our board, decades of experience in multiple areas of nonprofit tax matters. From managing professional services to research, ghost writing for national nonprofit publications and presenting tax seminars for various CPA societies and organizations, Annette has done it all. In addition to The Crawford Crew, Annette volunteers with the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, and Worthington Civic Band. Annette graduated with a Master of Tax from Capital University and with a B.A. from Bowling Green State University. When not volunteering or teaching, Annette enjoys reading, playing the clarinet, and traveling with her cats, Toby and Libby.
